Developer Intern 

Our future teammate will combine their love of technology with a love of unraveling complexity. We need team members whose intellect is only outmatched by their problem-solving skills.


The kind of problems you’ll help us solve:

  • How might we improve the quality of our data sets using computational techniques?

  • What systems could we implement to help verify the internal consistency, integrity, and quality of our primary products?

  • How can we extract, transform and load data to create actionable insights for our customers?

  • How might we improve the organization, quality, test coverage, and documentation of our codebase?

  • How could automation and scripting help increase the efficiency of internal content creation?

You’ll help us solve those problems if you:

  • Convey opinions using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods

  • Are customer focused, highly responsive, organized, and task-oriented

  • Desire to independently interact with multi-functional teams

  • Communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and between technical and non-technical teams

  • Have familiarity with any of the following: Python, Pandas, Jupyter, Docker, Airflow, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Javascript/HTML/CSS, MVC frameworks, asynchronous programming, Object-oriented programming, working with REST APIs, geospatial development, data structuring/manipulation libraries
